Hooray for 7 gutsy and adventurous youth of today!! You learned as much about people and life (not to mention geography) in your roadtrip as you will learn in a semester of college! Saw your story in the online Belleville News-Democrat, then visited your website. Good for you! Sorry I missed seeing you. Jefferson’s food is awesome--I live in the neighborhood. What will you do for an encore? Whatever it is, happy travels!! Nan in Belleville PS I’m a retired university professor. Classrooms are great, but all of life can be an adventure in learning. I read your story in the Belleville News Democrat this morning and then found myself hopping on-line to view this page...I hope you guys have had an amazing time and safe trip back to sunny California. I never knew Jefferson’s existed in Belleville (or anywhere else for that matter) so after I finish this, I am telling my husband I have an idea of where to go to dinner tonight!
